# Install on Windows Install Kwker on Windows x64 and Windows ARM64 - the Python wheel, the C library (DLL) and the Rust crate, and what is experimental there. Web page: https://kwker.io/docs/?p=install-windows - every Kwker documentation page for AI assistants: https://kwker.io/llms.txt Kwker runs on 64-bit Windows: x64 with prebuilt packages, ARM64 from source. In 0.1.0 Windows is experimental: the packages build and pass their tests here, and speed is measured but not promised. ## Python (x64) ```sh pip install kwker python -m kwker doctor # prints the engine in use ``` The wheel holds the core library and the `kwker` command. ## C and C++ (x64) Use the `kwker-c-0.1.0-windows-x86_64.zip` archive: `include/kwker.h` and `kwker.hpp`, `bin/kwker_c.dll`, its import library and the CMake package. Keep `kwker_c.dll` next to your program or on `PATH`. ## Rust ```toml [dependencies] kwker = "0.1" ``` The build needs clang++ (MSVC's cl.exe is not supported). On Windows ARM64 this is the way to use Kwker in 0.1.0: no prebuilt package yet. ## Not in the Windows packages yet The PyTorch extensions, the KwkCNN / KwkEncoder / KwkDecoder runners, the Kwker Runtime with its ONNX Runtime provider, the DuckDB extension and the Polars plugin. Everything else in the package works without them. ## Related - [Installation](https://kwker.io/docs/md/install.md): every platform and package. - [Runtime controls](https://kwker.io/docs/md/cpu-runtime.md): see and choose the engine.
